Forty-three students in grades K-5 participated in the engaging and informative learning experience, showing off their knowledge of the scientific method and engineering skills. Projects included demonstrations on plate tectonics, stalagmites and stalactites, building cars, simple machines, making slime, volcanoes, electricity conductors, seeds, crystals, mummification and more.

The students began work on their projects in early March and presented them to parents, friends and fellow students on Monday, May 6 during the Science and Engineering Fair and Art Expo.
