Artistic brushstrokes now preserved for Pieter B. students through PTO fundraiser

students watch as the teacher demonstrates what she wants them to draw

Pieter B. Coeymans students work eagerly with their art teacher Binnie-Ayn Chriss to finish art projects that will be photographed and used for a school fundraiser. Each student will have one piece of artwork for the fundraiser where parents and family members will be able to order the print to be placed on a variety of products. These include, but are not limited to coffee mugs, magnets, water bottles and dish towels.

The proceeds are used by the PTO to buy various items that improve the quality of education at Pieter B., such as Smart Boards for teachers’ classrooms and playground equipment. This is the fourth year the school has hosted the art fundraiser.
