Congratulations to the 2016 RCS Valedictorian and Salutatorian

2016 Valedictorian – Natalie Spindler

Natalie Spindler yearbook photoNatalie Spindler, daughter of Brian and Susan Spindler, is valedictorian of the RCS Class of 2016 after compiling a 99.91 grade-point average.

In addition to challenging herself with numerous Advanced Placement, University in the High School and honors courses, Natalie has played volleyball all four years of high school, earning a Scholar Athlete designation.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, participates in the Yearbook, Natural Helpers and Art clubs, and has danced competitively for 10 years.

Natalie was nominated for membership in the National Student Leadership Conference, the National Young Leaders State Conference and the National Society of High School Scholars, she was also selected for the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence.

Natalie plans to attend Boston College to study business and history.

2016 Salutatorian – Jessica Bianchi

Jessica Bianchi yearbook photoJessica Bianchi, daughter of Carl and Mitzi Bianchi of Glenmont, is salutatorian of the RCS Class of 2016. Her grade-point average is 99.77.

She is a three-year member of the varsity soccer team and a five-year member of the varsity cheerleading team, serving as captain for one year.

Jessica is a member of the National Honor Society, band, French Club, Yearbook Club and Natural Helpers. Jessica is an AP scholar, a scholar-athlete and recipient of the RPI medal.

Jessica has been involved in Girl Scouts since she was four years old. She is the current Board of Education student representative.

Jessica intends to major in mathematics at Villanova University this fall.
