Latter and Reville re-elected as BOE president, vice-president

District Board of Education members voted unanimously July 12 to elect James Latter to his fourth term as board president and Edward “Teddy” Reville to a third term as vice president, during the board’s annual reorganization meeting.

Also during the meeting, the board’s newest member, Kristen Rexford, elected for a first term in May 2016 to replace Patrick Brown, took her oath of office. Rexford and her husband Steve live in Ravena and have two daughters. An alumna of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, she works as an operations expert for Anthem.

Latter, who lives in Ravena with his wife Amanda and their three sons, was elected to a third term on the BOE in May 2016. He graduated from RCS in 2000, holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Syracuse University and works as a finance analyst for SABIC plastics in Selkirk.

Reville, lives in Selkirk and was elected to a second board term in May 2015. He and his wife, Rebecca, have three children. He graduated from Franklin Academy High School in Malone and holds an associate’s degree in business administration from SUNY Cobleskill and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clarkson University. Reville works as the protective and marine coatings manager for the Sherwin-Williams Company.
