Six Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) students —including one Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk student — medaled during the New York State SkillsUSA competition in Syracuse April 26-27.

Proving their skills are among the best in New York were Game Design and Implementation Program duo Mike DiSorbo of RCS and Evan Pollard of Guilderland, who earned a silver medal in the interactive application and video game creation competition.

“Our students all did a great job representing Capital Region BOCES CTE and demonstrating the real world skills they learn here,” said Debra Toy, a BOCES SkillsUSA advisor.
