The staff of the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District has been working to gather student materials and belongings that were left behind when schools closed suddenly in March due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. The contents of students’ lockers, cubbies and desks have been sorted and bagged and will be delivered to students’ homes, by school bus route, according to the following schedule:
Thursday, May 28 – AWB ONLY – All Routes
Friday, May 29 – PBC ONLY – All Routes
Thursday, June 4 – High School & Middle School – Routes, 282, 286, 288, 293, 298, 299, 300, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308.
Friday, June 5 – High School & Middle School – Routes, 309, 310, 315, 316, 321, 322, 323, 324, 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330.
Please be at your regular scheduled morning bus stop at 12:30 pm and wait patiently as the drivers will be driving their entire bus run (please be sure to social distance and wear a mask). If someone is not at the bus stop to retrieve their belongings, it will be returned to school and parents will be expected to make arrangements with your child’s school building to pick up prior to June 17th.
The transportation staff will not pick up any materials, such as textbooks, that need to be returned to the schools. A schedule and process for return of student materials to schools will be announced in the coming weeks.
Please note: School buses will be departing the bus garage on the scheduled days at 12:30 pm and will be making frequent stops throughout the community in order to deliver materials to students’ homes. In some instances, this could cause brief traffic delays. We appreciate your patience.
