You’re Invited! Show your RCS PRIDE while walking for a good cause, Oct. 15

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School student government has challenged the district staff to come together in support of the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk.  But why stop there?

Let’s show the Capital District how the RCS community rallies for a cause and shows our RCS PRIDE. The walk is Sunday, Oct. 15, in Washington Park, Albany. Invite your family, your friends and your neighbors to join! Superintendent Dr. Brain Bailey will be there with his wife and mother, decked out in green, gold and pink.

Click here to join our team.  It only takes about 4 minutes to sign up.

You DO NOT need to donate to join our team. Just click on “Join Our Team,” create an account with a valid email address, and join us in Washington Park.  You will receive a confirmation email directly from the American Cancer Society. By creating an account, you can print the confirmation page, which means, you can skip registration on the morning of the event.

Wear your RCS swag and add some pink.  The Student Government will have pink scarves and bracelets for sale for $2 and $1 respectively if you would like to purchase them at the walk.

The RCS School PRIDE team will meet just inside the park near the corner of Madison Avenue and Willett Street at 11:00 am.  We will have a green and gold striped flag so that you can find us.

If you have not registered online, registration for the event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in a large tent in the center of the park.

Parking is an adventure during this event, so leave lots of time to find a spot and to get to the park.  Carpool if you can.

Remote parking and shuttle schedule information is available by clicking here.

We look forward to seeing at the park!
