Welcome to the
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District

Living the Habits of Scholarship

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District encompasses the Albany County town of Coeymans, parts of the towns of Bethlehem and New Scotland, and part of the Greene County town of New Baltimore. The district serves approximately 1,900 students in grades Pre-K through 12 at its four schools: A.W. Becker Elementary, Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary, RCS Middle School and RCS High School. The district offices are located on the second floor of the Ravena Village Office Building at 15 Mountain Road in Ravena.

School functions are the heart of this friendly rural community. There are many opportunities for parents and guardians to become an active part of their child’s education, and for community residents to get involved by watching school plays and attending academic and athletic competitions regularly throughout the school year.

RCS students excel in and out of the classroom. The school is home to championship athletes, talented musicians and academic scholars each year.
