RCS Technology Plan

Mission Statement

Our mission is to be an exemplary 21st–century learning community whose graduates are well-prepared to excel in a complex, interconnected and changing world.

Technology in 2022-23

With the onset of COVID-19, RCS was required to be responsive to the technological needs of our students, families, and staff members.  We have been able to utilize NYS funds to provide one-to-one Chromebooks for students and are purposeful in creating instructional strategies that include live-streaming opportunities, the use of Google (Google Meet, Google Classroom, etc.), the utilization of various academic platforms to communicate content, and increased communication to families. Additionally, the ability to participate in remote learning at any time has driven our district into thinking about how all students will be able to access the learning that is required.

We are currently in the process of updating our 3-year Technology Plan and you can access the current one here.  If you have any questions or comments, please contact Assistant Superintendent Fred Engelhardt at fengelhardt@rcscsd.org.
