Mr. Charles (Fred) Engelhardt has been the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at the RCS School District since 2017 and, after more than six years in this role, will soon be heading off to the next phase of his career. We wish Mr. Engelhardt the best as he returns to the City School District of Albany where he will be the Director of Grants and Program Development. The district has benefited from his passion for teaching and learning, as well as his other investments in our RCS community.
Mr. Engelhardt will be with us through mid-May, and a hiring committee of community stakeholders will be gathered to review and interview potential candidates. Interviews will begin in May with the hopes of a July start date for the successful candidate.
