A student signs his letter of intent on CTE Signing Day

Three RCS seniors were celebrated earlier this month as Capital Region BOCES hosted its annual CTE National Signing Day event.

Jake Porter, Frankie Broadhurst, and Jack Berry were among 30 students, each studying under respective vocations including cosmetology to construction and heavy equipment, HVAC-R, and early childhood education. They all signed letters of intent to enter employment, apprenticeship, or continued education programs in the Capital Region upon graduating.

The ceremony was a testament to our students’ hard work and determination, and the exceptional guidance provided by our educators. Seeing students confidently commit to their chosen careers was a moment of great satisfaction for all of us.
