Staff have been working diligently this summer to transition to a new student management system called Synergy. This system will replace SchoolTool and has features that will improve the efficiency, accuracy, and security of maintaining our student records.
This change means that we will be phasing out our current “Parent Portal” accounts and switching to a new module called ParentVUE. Similar to Parent Portal, ParentVue will allow approved parents and guardians to communicate with teachers, view grades, attendance records, and schedules. Students will also have access to their grades and other information via a StudentVUE module.
Activation keys will be generated and distributed in the fall of 2023 to all parents/guardians as the district transitions to the new system. (There is no need to submit the Parent Portal User Agreement.) New families or any parent/guardian who needs an activation key after the initial distribution will be able request one from the main office of their child’s building. For security reasons, activation keys will be provided directly to the parent/guardian via the email or mailing address provided to the school, or handed directly to the parent/guardian. They will not be sent home with students.
The initial activation of the StudentVUE accounts will be completed within the school day in early fall.
