On Friday, May 16, RCS S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will host an assembly and a mock crash for RCS High School students during the school day. This event is in partnership with Albany County STOP-DWI, the Albany County Sheriff's Office, the Ravena Rescue Squad, and the Ravena Fire Department.
The goal of the event is to remind students about the dangers and real-life consequences of driving under the influence. Emergency vehicles will be present on campus to conduct this demonstration.
We believe this is an important message to convey to our students as we approach significant milestone events, such as prom, graduation, and the end of the school year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Funck, the High School Principal, at 518-756-5200 ext. 2003.
