Dear Parents/Guardians, Incoming 6th Grade and New Students,
We are excited to welcome you to the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Middle School community! To help our new students and families prepare for a successful start to the year, we are pleased to invite you to an Orientation Day on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
During this event, students will have the opportunity to receive their class schedules, and 6th-grade students will be issued their Chromebooks. They will also be able to practice using their lockers and locks, participate in a fun scavenger hunt to get familiar with the school layout, and visit informational tables located in the cafeteria. This will be a great chance to ask questions, meet teachers and staff, and get comfortable with the school environment before classes begin.
Returning 7th and 8th grade students can pick up their schedule between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm on this same day.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child and helping make the transition into middle school a smooth and enjoyable experience!
