The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District has released the draft of a proposed amendment to include Desha's Law (S.5539A/A.785A). Pursuant to the NYSED Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17 (e) (3), the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is making the proposed amendment available for public comment prior to its adoption. It has been placed on our website for your convenience.

Our 30-day community feedback window for the proposed amendment to the Emergency Response Plan will be from November 5, 2025, to December 5, 2025. Please submit questions or comments on this Google form here, or they may be addressed to the Board of Education on Wednesday, December 10, at 5:45 p.m. as part of the Board of Education Meeting.
The proposed amendment will be adopted by the RCS Board of Education on December 10, 2025.
