RCS Honors District Retirees at June 17, 2026, Board of Education Meeting

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District honored faculty and staff members who retired or will retire during the 2025-26 school year at the June 17, 2026, Board of Education meeting. During the ceremony, district leaders recognized the retirees for their dedication and contributions throughout their careers at RCS.

Superintendent of Schools Craig P. Chandler began thanking the retirees for the impact they have made throughout their careers.

“You’ve all made a tremendous difference,” Chandler said. “To every one of you, you are leaving behind big shoes to fill. You are leaving behind a district that's generally better because you spent your time here.”

Chandler congratulated the retirees on their retirement and wished them all the best in the next chapter of their lives.

The Board of Education also recognized Student Ex-Officios Owen Smith and Haiqa Usmani, whose terms conclude at the end of the school year. Both students were presented with certificates in appreciation of their service and contributions to the board.

In addition, Board Member Pete Ross was recognized for his service on the Board of Education.
