The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is happy to announce the appointment of Timothy King as our new Assistant Director of Student Support Services. Timothy brings a diverse experience to K-12 special education, offering a holistic view of the service continuum, transition needs, and the long-term impact of instructional decisions.
Most recently, he served as Special Education Instructional Coach and Transition Coordinator for RCS Middle and High School. During his time with RCS, Timothy has also served as Principal of the Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program for several summers, where he oversees staff and supports students and curriculum implementation. He holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, along with several educational and leadership certifications.
“We are pleased to welcome Timothy to this role,” said Superintendent of Schools Craig P. Chandler. “Tim has put in the work here, and this role reflects that. He knows our students, our staff, and our programming, and he has earned this opportunity.”
The district also extends its sincere thanks to Kate Thibault, who previously served as Assistant Director of Student Support Services, for her dedication and contributions to our students, staff, and school community.
