Helping Our 5th Graders Start the Year Ready to Learn

The Pieter B. Coeymans fifth-grade team was excited to once again receive a generous donation from the Manorville Foundation.

Thanks to their continued support, our 5th-grade classrooms received much-needed essentials, including tissues, wipes, and extra snacks. These everyday items help keep our students comfortable, focused, and ready to learn. The donation also included new backpacks filled with school supplies for any PBC student in need.

Based in the Saugerties/Ulster County area, the Manorville Foundation is committed to supporting youth development, strengthening communities, and providing essential resources. Through community events and fundraising efforts, including the Manorville Open Golf Tournament and the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival, the foundation continues to make a positive difference for local organizations and schools, with continued plans to expand its reach into Greene and southern Albany County.

We are especially thankful to 5th-grade teacher Ms. Wood for helping make this connection possible. We truly appreciate the continued generosity of the Manorville Foundation and the difference their support makes for our students!
