This week is School Board Recognition Week, a time to celebrate the members of the RCS School District Board of Education and the vital role they play in shaping our students’ educational experiences. Our board works to ensure that every student has access to meaningful, engaging learning opportunities that connect the classroom to the real world.
The Board of Education governs our district's work toward our Strategic Priorities of Future Ready Learning, Belonging and Safety, and Fiscal Responsibility by establishing policy, approving curriculum, and building the school budget. Their ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy school environment and prioritizing real-world learning prepares our students for life beyond graduation.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our Board of Education members: Michael Deyo (President), Edward Bedinotti (Vice President), Daniel Baker, Michael Coyne, Jacqueline Kalney, David Kramer, Matthew Miller, Jennifer Molino, and Melanie Potter. Their leadership, dedication, and service make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and our community.
For more information about our board members and their initiatives, please visit the Board of Education Homepage on our website.
Let’s take this week to thank and celebrate our board members for their commitment to making RCS a place where every student can thrive!
