Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that highlights an art student each month. The featured student is someone who continually displays hard work and dedication towards growing their art skills. They also come to class each day focused, actively participate in class, and help create a positive atmosphere for their peers.
Artist of the Month for September is Katie Karaskiewicz!
Katie is currently enrolled in AP 2D Art and Design along with being an active member of National Art Honor Society. Katie’s creativity and unique talents are showcased in her artwork. Her sense of line and movement brings her artworks to life, revealing her subject's personality. Katie has the ability to work with a variety of media and styles, which can be seen in these two very different, but equally successful self-portraits.
Congratulations Katie!
