The RCS High School Graduation will be held at the Times Union Center this year on Saturday, June 26, 2021. The doors will open at 2:30 PM and Graduation starts promptly at 4:00 PM.

Families will be able to bring eight people per graduate. Tickets, although FREE, will need to be ordered online and there will be assigned seating.

Tickets will be available online starting tomorrow, June 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM.

The link to purchase tickets will be posted on our district website as a lead news story and will be emailed to all senior families at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

You will need to enter your student’s ID number to order your tickets. Their ID number is available in your SchoolTool Parent Portal account as well as on any interim progress report or report card. You can also email Ms. Buckley at dbuckley@rcscsd.org to obtain this number if you cannot find it.

Important note:  We are working on a glitch in the ticket ordering process that may only allow you to order tickets in groups of four (4) or less.  If this occurs tomorrow, please go back and order an additional four (4) tickets.  Remember our graduation will have about 2,000 people in attendance and the Times Union Center seats about 17,500 people.  There will be plenty of available seats.

As of today’s date, our ceremony will surpass the Department of Health limit for indoor attendance at an event.  As such, please note: Current state guidelines require EVERY participant and attendee to demonstrate one of three things prior to entry:  A negative COVID-19 test, vaccination, or proof of recovery from COVID-19.  Here is an important letter to senior families about what will be required in order to attend graduation.

More information will be coming in the following weeks regarding Graduation and other end-of-year celebrations. Please continue to check your email for additional updates.

We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our students with you!
