RCS Grad

The RCS High School Graduation will be held at the Times Union Center this year on Saturday, June 26, 2021. The doors will open at 2:30 PM and Graduation starts promptly at 4:00 PM.

Families will be able to bring eight people per graduate. Tickets, although FREE, will need to be ordered through Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc., as there will be assigned seating.

Tickets are available now (starting June 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM) and will remain available until Friday, June 25, 2021.

Here is the link to order tickets:

You will need to enter your student’s ID number to purchase your tickets. Their ID number is available in your SchoolTool Parent Portal account as well as on any interim progress report or report card.  You can also email Ms. Buckley at dbuckley@rcscsd.org to obtain this number if you cannot find it.

Important note:  One unique element of this ordering is that tickets are only able to be ordered in “pods” of four (4).  If you need more than four tickets, place the first four in your cart, then go back and secure your second four tickets.  There will likely be social distancing between all of the four-seat pods (i.e. four seats together, some space, then four seats together).

Remember our graduation will have about 2,000 people in attendance and the Times Union Center seats about 17,500 people.  There will be plenty of available seats.  If you need assistance or for some reason cannot order your tickets online, please contact Ms. Buckley at dbuckley@rcscsd.org or 518-756-5200, ext., 2003.

As of today’s date, our ceremony will surpass the Department of Health limit for indoor attendance at an event.  As such, please note: Current state guidelines require EVERY participant and attendee to demonstrate one of three things prior to entry:  A negative COVID-19 test, vaccination, or proof of recovery from COVID-19Here is an important letter to senior families about what will be required in order to attend graduation.  We genuinely hope that this guidance will change prior to our graduation day.
