Good Afternoon Families,
We are writing to give you updates regarding the 2021-2022 school year. We will be providing more updates next week as we prepare for the first day of school on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
Transportation: We are asking families who do not need transportation for the 2021-2022 school year to fill out this form. It asks if you will be opting out of the morning, afternoon or both:
Guidelines for transportation this year will be as follows:
Masks must be worn at all times by everyone on the bus (Federal Directive)
Buses are allowed to be at full capacity for the 21-22 school year
Windows will be open to increase air circulation (weather permitting)
In the case of an actual school emergency (such as early closure), we will be able to transport your child home. There will be a three-week lead time if you need to opt back into transportation later in the year. Please complete this form for each individual child if you have more than one.
Students will still have access to 10th period, athletic and late run transportation if applicable. This form only applies to morning and afternoon runs to and from the required school day. You will be receiving a route card in the mail next week with your child's pick up location and estimated time, please note that this time may change as we continue to revaluate and determine our required resources for a successful year.
Please complete this form as soon as you know that your student will not be needing transportation. You do not need to take any action if your child will be using RCS transportation.
This calendar is designed to help students and their families start the school year off right. It lists many of the major school and district events and is full of helpful information and reminders, like our new Who to Contact and When Sheet. The calendar is printed in August, so changes are inevitable. Please continue to visit the district website for updates.
The hard copies of the RCS Calendar will be hitting homes the week of September 13, 2021.
