Staff Feature: Rose Gladney

If you graduated from RCS over the past few decades there is a good chance that you know High School Building Aide Rose Gladney. She has worked for the district for over 33 years and her unwavering commitment to our community is one that many have witnessed and appreciated. Known for her willingness to always lend a hand, styling tie-dye, and contagious positive attitude, Rose is a staple in the RCS community.

Whether she is keeping an eye on her CTE students, monitoring the halls, or helping with dismissal, Rose is dedicated to the students and staff. An RCS graduate of the Class of 1975, she has been a part of our community long before she started working at RCS. She consistently steps up to the plate to support our district, students, and staff, helping out whenever and wherever she can. She has made valuable, lifelong connections with our students, staff, and community.

Her faithfulness and dedication do not go unnoticed. Last week was Rose’s birthday, and as a surprise, the high school wore tie-dye on Friday in celebration of her special day! The efforts were put together by the high school teachers to honor her hard work and support for the community. When asked about her favorite part of the job, Rose said, “The students and faculty are the best part of this job! I treat these kids like my own. I care about them!”

Thank you, Rose, for all you do for RCS!
