Dear RCS High School Families,
The New York State Education Department has announced that the Regents exams, originally scheduled from Tuesday, January 25 through Friday, January 28 have been cancelled for January 2022. The June and August 2022 Regents exams are still currently scheduled.
Please be advised that the RCS High School will now follow its regular daily schedule for Tuesday, January 25 through Friday, January 28. Students should report to school on their normal schedule for these days. Classes will take any end-of-semester and final assessments during their designated class time, you can find the schedule for those exams here. CTE students will attend their programs this week as normal.
Please remind your child to take end-of-semester and final assessments seriously. Assessment data not only informs grades but also provides valuable information for instruction and intervention. Please contact your child’s teacher to discuss possible support options if you have concerns regarding your child’s progress or questions about the exam schedule.
