What a weekend for RCS Athletics!!
Congratulations to Senior Uchenna Uba, who came in 1st place this past weekend at the State Qualifiers with a personal record of 34-8 in Shot Put. She is now off to compete in the NY State Championships!!!! She is also the Section II Champion in Shot Put and Weight Toss.
The girls 4x2 (Julianna Tourangeau, Khalia Robinson, Chloe Canham, Katie Pagnotta) and 300m dash ran by Katie Pagnotta, did very well at the State Qualifiers this weekend as well after placing in Sectionals the weekend before.
Another big congratulation goes to our Varsity Wrestling team on being the Section II Class CC Champions!!
Along with being the Class CC Champions, the Varsity Wrestling team has eight student-athletes going to State Qualifiers this weekend in a variety of weight classes:
Senior Erik Chapman who came in first
10th grader Kaden Potter who came in first
11th grader Francis Broadhurst Jr. who came in second
8th grader Aiden Forster who came in second
11th grader Jaymie Carkner who came in third
11th grader JT Lyle who came in fourth
9th grader Ethan Green who came in fourth
10th grader Dominic Maltese who came in fourth
