Below please find registration reminders and updates for Pre-Kindergarten applications and Kindergarten enrollment. Additional information can be found on our Register for School page here.
Update from 4/26/22: The number of students registered for the pre-kindergarten program through the open enrollment period has NOT exceeded the cap of 36 students per building. There will NOT be a lottery for A.W. Becker or Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary Schools this year.
There are still open spots in both buildings. If you have a child whose birth date falls between December 2, 2017, and December 1, 2018, they are eligible for our half-day Universal Pre-K program. Visit this page for more information. Available spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pre-Kindergarten
Visit our Pre-Kindergarten Information page here to view information regarding applying to pre-kindergarten. The deadline for open pre-kindergarten registration is Monday, April 25. After that time, students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The screening dates have been updated from the printed version of the school calendar. The new dates are:
Monday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 24
Specific information regarding screening appointment dates and times will be shared with families from their respective elementary schools.
Kindergarten
To enroll for kindergarten, visit our New Student Registration page here. There is no deadline for enrolling in kindergarten at RCS; we encourage families to enroll their students by Monday, April 25 in order to participate in the kindergarten screening day.
