Teacher and student doing school work

The National PTA has designated May 2 through 6 as Teacher Appreciation Week!

Please join the RCS Central School District in taking a moment to acknowledge and thank all of our amazing teachers and staff for the hard work they do for our students and community.

Teachers should be appreciated every day, not just one week a year! Our teachers have gone above and beyond to support our students and community during these trying last few years. Greeting our students with a smile and providing a safe and comfortable environment, our teachers are always putting students at the center of their work and goals.

During the week of May 2 through the 6, the RCS Central School District and community will recognize School Teacher Appreciation Week to acknowledge school teachers and staff for their continued commitment to our students, community, and school district. They are instrumental in continuing to provide quality and innovative educational instruction and opportunities for our students. We thank them for their service and support.

“Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time of the year to recognize the dedication of our teachers as they continue to provide excellent instruction and support for our students throughout the year,” said Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Mr. Engelhardt. “We are so grateful to have the teachers that we do, supporting our students.”

If you know or see an RCS teacher or staff member, please say thank you to honor their work in shaping today’s students for tomorrow!
