Good Afternoon,

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is in the planning stages for a future construction project that will include important updates to our existing facilities. We will also need to consider adapting or creating innovative instructional spaces that will better prepare our students for the future. We are organizing a district-wide committee of staff and community members to participate in this important planning.

This committee of teachers, support staff, parents/guardians, board of education members, high school students, and building and district leaders will meet virtually from 7 pm - 9 pm on:

Thursdays = June 9, June 30, July 28, August 11, September 1, and September 22

As we decide on our priorities for a future project, this work will include the review of:

  • Our recently completed construction project

  • Information about our current small-scale project

  • Our building condition survey (completed every five years)

  • The programmatic priorities that will influence our construction needs for the next five years and beyond

We need diverse voices to ensure that we appropriately preserve and design our facilities for our current and future students as well as for our community. If you are interested in participating, please complete this short survey, and a calendar invitation will be sent to you for the five virtual meetings.

We would really like your input. Please click here to fill out the RCS Facilities Planning Committee Sign Up Survey.

Thank you,

Brian Bailey
