On Monday, January 9, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District residents voted to approve the district’s $15 million capital project proposal. The results are: 

Proposition: 166 YES (56%) to 129 NO (44%)

“We want to take a moment to say thank you to the residents of our community for supporting these needed improvements,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Bailey. “This project will allow us to keep growing as a district, for not only our students and their future, but for our staff and community as well. We can’t wait to get started on this important work for our RCS community.”

The project focuses on much-needed infrastructure and maintenance improvements on every campus in the RCS district, as well as additional safety and security upgrades and smart investments as we plan for the future of RCS. View more information about the proposal and included work here.  

The results of this vote will be ratified at the Wednesday, January 11, Board of Education Meeting.
