RCS Middle School teacher Ms. Mulderry in her classroom.

Normally, we provide background and information on RCS teachers to tell their story to the district. However, we feel this week’s ‘Feature a Teacher’ segment deserves a stand-alone version. Especially for a teacher like Ms. Mulderry.

At the completion of the 2020-21 school year, she will be retiring. She will have left behind a legacy of helping others and teaching students in the RCS community. We thank her for her service and we value her connections made with students, families, faculty and staff.

As a district, we thank you.

“I am honored to be recognized as I near my final (39 years of service) year in education. Most of my career was spent at Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary, but I will end my career at the RCS Middle School. My team this year includes a former student and two daughters of teachers that I have taught with previously. That is incredible! This year has been a year of change and enlightenment,” said Ms. Mulderry. “It is never too late to learn. I have become very good friends with my Chromebook, teaching resources and websites to engage my students. I love to find different ways to present material in today’s classroom. There is so much out there to inspire teaching.”

“I will be retiring this year and will be looking forward to many things. My daughters are living in Boston, so there will be lots of trips there. In addition, I will be back in the district as a substitute teacher when needed. I look forward to pursuing my other interests which include: quilting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.”
