Yesterday, third-grade students from Pieter B. received a kind donation of dictionaries from the Ravena Grange #1457 at a brief assembly.
This annual initiative is a partnership between the Ravena Grange and The Dictionary Project. The Grange has been generously supporting this program for several years to help Pieter B. third-grade students become excellent writers, avid readers, and imaginative thinkers.
The Dictionary Project is a charitable organization with the commitment to ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of owning a dictionary. The program, which started in the early 90s, strives to empower people to become resourceful learners, creative thinkers, and active readers by providing them with their own dictionaries.
