Small Essentials Bring Big Excitement For Our Pieter B. 5th Graders

Pieter B. Coeymans fifth grade welcomed a generous donation from the Manorville Foundation this past week.

Thanks to their support, our 5th-grade classrooms received much-needed essentials such as tissues, wipes, and extra snacks, items that help keep students comfortable, focused, and ready to learn each day.

The Manorville Foundation, based in the Saugerties/Ulster County area, is dedicated to supporting youth development, strengthening communities, and providing essential services. Through community events and fundraising efforts such as the Manorville Open Golf Tournament and the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival, they continue to make a meaningful impact on local organizations and schools, with plans to expand their reach to Greene and southern Albany County.

We’re especially grateful to 5th-grade teacher Ms. Wood for helping make this connection. Community support like this truly makes a difference for our students!
