Over the past several months, students at Pieter B. Coeymans with a shared passion for dance came together on Friday mornings as part of the school’s Dance Crew program. They collaborated to create routines, build skills, and grow as performers in a supportive, creative environment.
The program featured multiple crews, including Dance Team Divas, Kat'seye Crew, and DaBoyz. Each group developed its own choreography and style while exploring a range of music, including Firework by Katy Perry, Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, and Abracadabra by Lady Gaga. Students worked to bring each piece to life through movement and expression.
Weeks of preparation led to an exciting finale on Friday, April 24, when the Dance Crew took the stage to perform for families and friends. Each group showcased its moves and earned enthusiastic support from the audience before joining together for a finale performance set to Golden from the K Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack.
