Meet the Instruments Night continues to be an interactive and engaging evening that gives students a hands-on opportunity to explore a wide variety of instruments. This year, the event welcomed our 3rd grade students and their families. It also offers families a chance to learn more about the music program at RCS and what it has to offer. Attendees can see, hear, and try out different instruments with guidance from music teachers and student musicians, making the experience both educational and fun.
This event is made possible thanks to the dedicated staff of the RCS Music Department and the talented student musicians who generously share their time and musical knowledge. A special thank-you goes to John Keal Music Company for providing demo instruments, cleaning materials, and professional support. Their continued contributions help create a welcoming, hands-on experience for our future musicians.
Meet the Instruments Night remains a meaningful tradition that inspires young students to consider joining the music program while fostering connections through the shared joy of music. This year also marks the first time our 4th grade students are able to receive music lessons, helping prepare them for participation in the 5th grade band.
