Each year the Pieter B. Physical Education Department hosts the Pieter B. Coeymans Cross Country Run for students in grades 3 through 5. The event has been running for 18 years, and this year was no exception! The Physical Education Department was ecstatic that they were able to hold the event again this year for their students and community.
This optional after-school run is an opportunity for students to let some energy out and participate in a friendly, competitive 1-mile run around the campus. The top 3 students from each category are awarded a medal for all their hard work. The students demonstrated great sportsmanship and pride in their classmates, cheering each other on as they crossed the finish line.
A big thank you to the PBC physical education department for organizing the event and to the staff that helped run the event!
