Please note that the information below is an annual requirement. The District-wide Safety Plan is a general plan filed each year by the district that outlines the district’s response to emergencies.
The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District has released the draft of the District-Wide Safety Plan for the 2023-2024 school year. Pursuant to the NYSED Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17 (e) (3), the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is making the district-wide safety plan available for public comment prior to its adoption. It has been placed on our website for your convenience.

Our 30-day community feedback window for the Emergency Response Plan will be from November 9, 2023 - December 10, 2023. Please submit questions or comments on this Google form here, or they may be addressed to the Board of Education on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m. as part of the Board of Education Meeting.
The completed plan will be adopted by the RCS Board of Education on December 13, 2023.
