Attention Parents/Guardians of Students with Disabilities (IEPs)
Our district will soon be sending home the New York State Special Education Parent Survey (SPP 8). This survey gives parents and guardians an opportunity to share their experiences with their child's special education services, communication with the district, and involvement in their child's education.
Our goal is 100% participation! We want to hear from every family, and your feedback helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve.
How can you complete the survey?
You will receive a paper copy of the survey in the mail. You have three options for completing it:
Complete the paper survey and return it using the postage-paid, self-addressed envelope provided.
Return the completed paper survey to your child's teacher or school office.
Complete the survey online at http://parentsurvey.potsdam.edu using the six-digit survey code found at the bottom of your paper survey.
A few things to keep in mind:
The survey should only take a few minutes to complete.
If you have more than one child with an IEP, please complete a separate survey for each child.
Your individual responses are confidential and will not be shared with the district.
