Middle School Physical Education Students of the Month September 2023; Sports Equipment

Each month the Physical Education Department at the RCS Middle School will be recognizing individual students for the hard work they demonstrated in class during the entire month.

A big congratulations to the Physical Education Students of the Month for September; Fiona Englehardt (Grade 6), Andres Guzman-Ortiz (Grade 6), Sophia Bylsma (Grade 7), Dannie Baker (Grade 7), Violet Wichmann (Grade 7), Kirsten Molino (Grade 8), and Haley Doherty (Grade 8). 

Here is a brief description of each student’s contributions to their class: 

Fiona Engelhardt- Always gives 100% effort, follows directions, and displays sportsmanship in all class activities. In addition, Fiona is respectful and is always willing to help others in the class.

Andres Guzman-Ortiz-  Always tries his best, supports his classmates, and plays with 100% effort. He is a rule follower and leader who demonstrates good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Sophia Bylsma - Always comes to class prepared, is respectful to others, and displays sportsmanship in all class activities. She always helps pick up equipment at the end of class and is willing to help with any setup. Sophia plays every game the right way by encouraging all teammates and opponents during class games. She has had a positive impact on the whole class.

Dannie Baker -   Always respectful to his classmates and follows directions.  Dannie has been a positive influence on the class and is always willing to help others.  In addition, his enthusiasm and high participation levels are evident throughout every class activity.

Violet Wichmann-  Brings great energy to class, she always tries her best, supports her classmates, and plays with 100% effort. She demonstrates good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  

 Kirsten Molino- Kirsten's leadership is evident through her sportsmanship, effort, and respect for others in the class.  In addition, Kirsten is always volunteering to help put equipment away at the end of each class.  She has been a positive influence on the class. 

Hailey Doherty - Always follows the directions during class and does the right thing, and her willingness to help others is evident in all classes. Her sportsmanship, communication, and leadership skills are shown during every class activity.
