Majiel Baker is a Physical Education teacher at RCS Middle School who has built a classroom environment centered on confidence, perseverance, and lifelong wellness. Her approach to teaching goes beyond physical activity, focusing on helping students develop the skills and self-belief they need to stay active and healthy throughout their lives.
Baker’s influence reaches far beyond the gym. Drawing from her own life experiences, she serves as a powerful role model for students facing challenges of their own. Through her teaching and her personal example, Baker encourages students to push through obstacles and believe in their ability to overcome adversity. Her nomination as a Top Teacher reflects her dedication to her students and the lasting impact she continues to make each day.
