On Wednesday, June 24, the RCS Class of 2030 celebrated an important milestone at the 8th Grade Moving Up Celebration. Students, families, friends, teachers, and staff gathered to recognize the accomplishments of the class and mark the transition from middle school to high school.
Throughout the ceremony, students were recognized for their hard work, achievements, and contributions to the RCS Middle School community. Members of the 7th and 8th-grade chorus performed, and students received certificates of achievement in recognition of their success.
Middle School Principal Denise Schlatterer offered words of encouragement, while fellow 8th-grade students Mylee Shear, Andrés Guzmán-Ortiz, and Kayla Beazley shared remarks reflecting on their middle school experience and the journey ahead.
A special thank you to the Middle School PTSO, as well as the teachers, staff, families, and our school community, who helped make both this celebration and the entire school year a success.
RCS Class of 2030 – Congratulations!!
