The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District will honor two longtime contributors to RCS athletics, Coach Ron Racey and Gary VanDerzee, during a dedication ceremony on Friday, September 25, at RCS High School.
The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m., prior to the Varsity Football Homecoming game.
For decades, Coach Racey and VanDerzee have played an important role in shaping RCS athletics through their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our students and school community. Their contributions have made a lasting difference in the lives of generations of RCS students and athletes.
Through their time, energy, mentorship, and commitment to RCS, they have helped create a legacy that continues to influence and shape RCS athletics today.
The District is proud to recognize Ron Racey and Gary VanDerzee and celebrate the lasting impact they have had on our students, our athletic programs, and the broader RCS community.
