The RCS Middle School Drama Club is beyond excited to be back providing the community with live musical performances for them to enjoy! Unfortunately, they were not able to perform last year due to the pandemic. This year, however, they are back on the stage with live performances and better than ever!
The RCS Middle School Drama Club’s performances of the musical Fame Junior premiere TONIGHT!

“We are so excited to be able to bring back the Middle School Drama Club this year,” said RCS Middle School Music Teacher and MS Drama Club Director Casey Kobylar. “We picked this performance because, in a way, many of our students could relate to some of the stories about growth and change. Our students had to wait so long and put in so much work to get this show together. It takes a lot of time, dedication, and effort. I am so incredibly proud of them, and we cannot wait to share our show!”
The musical Fame Junior is about a group of students who attend a prestigious performing art high school and have just entered their first year. The story follows the students through their four years of High School. You learn about the different students, how they grow and how they become their own performers and individuals through their experiences.
This year the performances will take place on the High School Stage, giving students a great opportunity to expand their theatrical skills. The Drama Club is incredibly thankful for all of the support from the students, staff, parents, volunteers, and community members that have helped make the show a success. Last but not least, a big thank you to Director Ms. Kobylar for all of her hard work and support for our students.
