2023-24 BUDGET NEWSLETTER IN THE MAIL: The 2023-24 Budget Newsletter was mailed out following this week’s hearing at the Board of Education meeting.  

MEET THE BOE CANDIDATES: Each of this year’s four Board of Education candidates submitted biographies. You can access them from here.

NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: Next week marks National Teacher Appreciation Week. Be sure to show gratitude towards your favorite educator.

WE HEART RCS MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL SATURDAY, MAY 6: Tomorrow promises nice weather, perfect for the second installment of the We <3 aRtCS Music and Arts Festival. Find the story on our website.

SADD MOCK CRASH FRIDAY, MAY 12: Don’t be alarmed: There will be activity as local emergency crews participate in a dramatized vehicular accident outside the high school on Friday afternoon. You can read more about it here.

Resources - “Who to Contact and When” Guide: We have created a “Who to Contact and When” Guide for RCS families and community members, located on page two of our RCS Wall Calendar and on our website. This document was created to help ensure that questions and concerns from our community are addressed in the most efficient and effective manner possible. It outlines who you should contact first for information in a particular area, as well as the next step if your concern is not addressed. Staff contact information can be found on the second page.


Reminders

RCS College Panel Night: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School counselors hosted a College Panel Night last week in the Career Cafe with representatives from Hudson Valley Community College, SUNY Albany, and The College of Saint Rose. 

RCS Class of 2023 Graduation Information: Last week, we released information regarding the Class of 2023 Graduation on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center.
