Dear Families,
The end of our school year is quickly approaching and we have already begun some of our end-of-year celebrations and recognitions this week. Below are some reminders about the last days of student attendance. Please read through the details for each of our school buildings. June is a special time of year for our students as they demonstrate what they have learned and eagerly look forward to some well-earned rest. It has been a joy to be able to come together again this spring and celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our students and staff.
Here is the information about the last days of student attendance that we have shared with staff and families in our weekly letters since April 8, 2022. As a reminder, we used only one emergency closure day for all buildings due to snow this year and Pieter B. Coeymans had one additional closure day due to an issue with public utilities. By state regulation, students are required to be in school for 180 days each year, including superintendent conference days. This requirement sometimes lengthens or shortens our school calendar. That last days of student attendance for our respective buildings are as follows:

We have released our schedule for the last days of school for the District, please access them on the website here. Families will be notified if there are any changes due to the use of additional snow/emergency days prior to June 24.
Tuesday, June 14, will be the last day for the 10th Period and 5 pm runs for the MS/HS. In the event any students need extended time, a bus will be provided to bring students home.

Elementary Early Dismissal on next, Thursday, June 9 for Placement Meetings: Buses depart at 12:30 PM. Please note the following for this date:
PM Pre-K students will not be coming to school this day, and AM Pre-K students will be dismissed with all other students.
Students will eat lunch prior to dismissal.
Parent pick-up will begin at 12:05 PM.
Students who take the bus will be dismissed starting at 12:15 PM.
Afterschool childcare programs will be held.
Parents/guardians should be prepared for their students to be home 3 hours earlier.
